anyone have a picture of the bezel? Mainly on the glovebox, trying to use one off a 69 Barracuda.

Assuming your 340 Duster has the rally dash...
Typical glove box trim for Barracuda has the Barracuda script attached though 5 small holes and a raised fish molded in. Duster and Demon were bare.
The Barracuda piece could work though. Remove the script, sand away the fish to flat, cover it all with a applique kit from DTM.

Thanks, what I'll do, thinking there might be some type of emblem for a Duster there. The car was a /6, now 340, but I like that rally dash and I have an extra complete 69 Barracuda dash frame-cluster-wirring harness. I'll also weld over the ign key hole.

I think Duster and Demon had badges on both entrance doors instead of glove box door.
Weld up the key switch opening or just mount something else in that bezel. Endless options from manual choke pull to amplifier on/off switch. I cut a second switch bezel into my 67 rally dash for a right manual remote mirrors controller.

That's in the plastic bezel. Jim or Loretta @ Detroit Muscle Technologies can provide a precut laminate that would cover to delete. All you would need to do is shave away the raised areas at that switch, if you're willing to do that. It boils down to how nice a OEM bezel is.

I have three to choose from, one has a hacked up radio hole so I'll do that one (race car no radio) and make up a delete plate. The bezel for the 70-71 has the wood grain decal at the top half and the bottom is painted black including the glove box piece. It all looks very do-able. A lot cheaper than $475 for a repop bezel (which I did spring for one on my m-code)

A 69 barracuda has a push button latch on the glove box door.

The 70 and up has a rotary knob because of federally mandated safety laws.

That "decal" ( actually is a much thicker piece of material ) on the 70/71 bezel is what I was referring to in making a flasher switch go away. DTM has the same sort of thing for the lower portion of a rally bezel too. OEM woodgrains, argent, black, carbon fiber too I think. Ordering that to be cut without the radio openings may hide most of the butchering. Probably should super glue a stick of something across ( like the butcher left a rib bone LOL ) since it is a fairly large void and this covering material is only .025 thick. Not to suggest its very fragile, just a bit flimsy on its on.

I'm using the whole dash from a 69 motch, but could use the 70 box just have to drill for plate attachment. Got it cut for the cage last nite, now the pad. In the tank de rusting and cleaning paint tomorrow
