While the Lokar is a nice kit finish and layout wise, it does add more resistance and takes a little extra effort to operate the throttle vs. the oem rod and bellcranks I've used
are you using an entire lokar kit? you know, throttle and kickdown cables , lokar brackets at the carb and return spring kit? or is it some Frankensteined together thing? if its all lokar you have something hooked up or run wrong if its harder to push the throttle down then a factory set up... every lokar set up i've ever installed operated smoother and has less resistance then a factory set up...
