Man that is a pathetic looking shortside on the intake side. Its not Speedmasters fault as there really isn't much meat there to work with. At least from what I heard these heads did away with water in the bottom of the port. At least that's what Doctor J used to say when he was still porting heads.
Stuck within a restraint, stock port layout. At a certain point it will only flow more by simply increasing port volume... then It's just an elbow ...at a certain point, shape not ideal, it still picks up by volume
