Inexpensive mechanical fuel pump question

Really depends on year. 60's and 70's used 160°-180° t-stats. Starting in the 80's nearly all manufacturers upped the temperature of t-stats to 195° in order to meet EPA emissions.
Living in West Texas and driving a non-emission car, I'd opt for 180° max.
