HOW MANY HAVE DONE A FATHER/SON PROJECT....

I learned the simple basics from my dad, changing brakes, oil change, wheres the alternator, but never restored or did any serious work on a car. He grew up working on cars and I think he was burnt out fixing everyone else's problems. But I always wanted to do an old car with my dad (even if he was a chevy guy). It'll never happen cause I went into the army and a year later he died while I was away. He didn't have much to leave behind but it was enough for my to buy my current Duster so I think of it as our car.

Now I have a 6yr old and maybe one day we can get to do that. I can't rebuild an engine from scratch like my dad but hopefully by the time my kid hits highschool I'll be good enough to teach him a thing or two. Right now he only cares about video games and nerf guns.
