I have had over the decades several B5 B bodies and a couple of B3 B bodies...... working on latest project. 71 duster slant car, originally F3 green, my wonderful wife loves blue so I will wind up painting it eventually either B5 or B3. for those not familiar B3 is a lighter more silvery blue.
ANYONE with some good pics of the duster / or demon n B5 and B3 !!? I am leaning right now more toward B3,,,,, just like to see how the smaller car looks in these shades of blue.... thanks......

have you considered B7 Jamaica Blue? My 69 Roadrunner was B7 w/ white interior...great combo

thanks...it was fully #'s matching documented car (window sticker, dealer sales order, bank payoff, etc). It def presented better in pictures, but was all there 25yr old restoration. Very happy with my current ride, a 72 Demon 340. Good luck with whatever color you chose...any thoughts on basin street blue (petty blue)?

I never really cared for Petty Blue.

I have to do my own body/paint work. and the darker the color, the more of a challenge we all kow! my wife likes B5 best. it is a very pretty color and was so popular back in the day also. I had a 67 Bel!! I painted B3 bot 12 yrs ago and I loved that. I do appreciate the pics. I believe B bodies look better in some colors but not necessarily the smaller models do the same.
I am just getting over triple heart bypass so I have plenty of time to ponder this question! it is a amazing all have done the last ?? month with 2 arteries 98% blocked!!!!!! ya don't want me to tell!!! ha

B1 is baby blue or "Blue Sky" and not available intil 72. There were baby blue colors available in the early 60's though.
B3 is a light silvery blue
B5 is a vibrant medium blue and
B7 is a dark blue

My 70 Swinger was originally B3 but was painted B5 by the previous owner.
