I'm about to paint, and need a couple seals, is there a company we prefer over others? Thanks.

Steele rubber ,good products.

I used Steele Rubber products on an mid 80's D150 that I re - newed,, the fit of those rubber door and window parts was ok, but not perfect.
It is not decision time yet, but I am going to try a different vendor when it is time to buy door and window seals for the 68 Barracuda.
Below is a price comparison that I did yesterday for the '68

Steele Rubber: door seals 134.00, trunk seal 47.20, roof side seals (upper window) 163.80,, or $345.00 for the set
Year One: door, trunk and roof seal kit,, $209.99, currently $191.97
RockAuto: door, truck and roof seal kit,, $161.79

right now I am not seeing paying an additional 183 dollars for the Steele Rubber product.
I plan to go with the RockAuto seals, but I also plan to order them just before I need to have them for installation.
if the fit is bad I'll return them to RA for a refund,, that's the plan anyway.

If I stay on schedule I will be installing the window seals March or so of 2019, so it will be awhile before I have any real info to post, hopefully someone with current experience will reply.

What about metro soft seal ? I haven't had any issues with their stuff. I use them on both my 68 coronet and my 70 dart. You can go on their website and get the part numbers then check Amazon, I saved a bunch doing that.

the RockAuto door seals for the 68 Barracuda are listed as Metro seals.

RockAuto is a good way to go with the discount, their prices are cheaper for Metro parts than I've seen anywhere else. Thanks to FABO for pointing that out to me.
