I purchased a clutch and pressure plate kit from reading on here (before taking the old one out) thinking I got the correct one. But I'm not sure if it will work or not and was hoping someone here could help me. See pictures of the two plates. Thanks for your help !

Purchased this one....... 05-004 Clutch Kit: Dodge Cars, Pickups, & Van, Plymouth Cars, Pickups - 10 in.

Borg and Beck style I will guess. Should work just fine. New one looks like every other pressure plate out there for sale.
Lighter pedal pressure but more solid grip on PP.
If in question call the company where you bought it.

If you are using the original flywheel, then it might not fit. Brewers has a 10 in flywheel and clutch kit that is designed to fit the OEM flywheel.

bolt it to flywheel , see how it fits. the only 10" pp was for a slant six and it bolted to 273 flywheel perfectly. you now have 6 bolts rather than 3. I ran one in my 273 dart, years ago, it worked way better.

That’s the old Auburn style 9.5” pressure plate. You can “upgrade” to a 10” Borg & Beck style pressure plate (like the new one in your picture) and still use the 122 tooth flywheel. If you move to the 10.5” pressure plate, that requires a 130 tooth flywheel, different bellhousing and release fork........ a lot more parts for just 1/2” of clutch. I tossed the 9.5” Auburn style out of my 1967 Formula S and went to the 10” Borg & Beck. Everything lined up and it works perfect!!

Thanks for the help, it sounds like what I have is going to work. Great site and thanks again!

Thanks!☺
And that was whith the original flywheel?
Did the release bearing fit from the 05-004 kit?
My car is a Barracuda -66 273 180hp.
Same throw out bearing. Make sure you adjust it so the bearing almost touches the pressure plate fingers. You can see it through the inspection cover opening.
