Hello all... Newbie here,
Recently picked up a 67' Valiant 100 looking forward to being a part of this community. Car sat for the most of ten years and is equipped with an Elgin cammed 318, 904, and 8 3/4 with 5.13s. Car has a solid body, decent interior, and all glass is intact in great shape. The car runs, but doesn't drive well at this point. It's been hacked together as it was a strip car prior. All in all it's a solid foundation and I'm excited to get started.

Welcome! You came to the right place, looks like you got a solid foundation to work with. May the fun begin!

Welcome to FABO! You've come to the right place for help and info. Looks like a good solid project you got there. Post cars make great strip cars.

Welcome to the FABO Forum! Looks like you have a very nice Valiant, I like it.....

Must be hard to drive and keep that coffee cup in the trunk!!! LOL

I’m guessing you’re in Colorado? I’ve seen that car advertised on Craigslist in the Denver area, was for sale for some time.

Welcome to the site, lots of people from this site in the area. I'm southeast of Denver in Strasburg. I was thinking about that car and where it went to. Plans for the car?

I don't have a solid plan as of yet... Cool... Quick... Reliable is the goal. I'm leaning toward dedicated track car I can drive to local show n shine events. I'd really like to do a boosted small block or Gen III. I've done of ton of research and asking for advice. Look forward to being a part of this community. What cars or projects are you working on?

:welcome: aboard. At least when you tear it down, you won't have to take many pictures as most of them would help when reassembling it anyways. I wouldn't try to worry about making it drivable right now either. Tires, fluids, brake hydraulics, wiring etc... all would need replaced just to start. Looks like it will make a solid whatever you ultimate direction is.

I've got a 68 Barracuda convert and a 29 Chrysler hot rod I'm working on.
