63-66 dart door and trunk lid interchange?

hey guys, I just bought a 66 dart sedan that needs a driver door and a decklid. Just wondering if any of you know how many years interchange. I know on the 67-69 doors the lock knob is in different spots, etc. any help is greatly appreciated!

64-66 doors are the same. 63 door is dimensionally the same but latch is different.
65-66 deck lids should be the same. I believe I have a driver side door for 2 door sedan.
I'm assuming it is a 2 door sedan, since you didn't specify.
 
Well Kind of^^ 1966 doors and trunk lid are unique. The 66 doors are just the locks and the holes at the bottom for some trim, the trunk had lights on the trunk lid that the other years do not...hood is 66 only as well....EDIT: 65 trunk should work...

Thanks Tim. Looks like I’ve got my work cut out for me. I need one door, one fender, hood, deck lid and bumpers. Lol.
 
Place a want ad for your needed parts. You guys that have parts, you should pm hosehead instead of turning this into a sale thread.
 
Sorry Mike. This wasn't a thinly veiled parts wanted thread. I'm just getting a game plan together. I think I have the info I need now. It's called Corys wallet gets lighter.:lol:

Make sure of the interchange on the deck lids. Don't know about Darts, but 64, 65, 66 Valiant all have different deck lids
 
64, 65, 66 Valiant doors will interchange within body style (2dr sdn to 2dr sdn, etc). The outside door lock hole is different, between 64, 65 and the 66. But it is no problem to modify the early hole to fit the 66 lock cyl. Never tried going the other way.
PS: The doors for the Valiant hardtop, will interchange with the Barracuda, but not the door glass, as the roof line is different. But the door glass can be swapped.
Just a FYI: 64, 65, 66 windshield is the same, and available new. 64, 65, 66 back lite are all different, and no known source, new.
PPS: The complete front clip can be swapped between all 64, 65, 66 "A" bodies.
Front fenders can be swapped on 64, 65, but the downward angled crease is different. 64, 65 hoods interchange with mods to the hood latch mechanism.
66 individual front end parts are 66 only, but as stated can be swapped as a complete front clip.
This is all Valiant/Barracuda info. I'm not up on Darts.

65 trunk lid will fit a 66 but you have to slightly modify the tail light opening a little bit. hole location between the 2 are off ...if ya got a sedan ya should get a sedan door. On the trunk the trim holes will be wrong since the 66 gets that huge aluminum tail panel between the lights

I've went the other way and had to modify a 66 sedan door to a 66 hardtop door. but it required welding a few tabs for the vent window mount into the inner skin. along with make quite a few more holes and reworking the rear post to door area. ..... so not really worth it but it's the only door I could find ...(before internet took over)
