Cheap Ebay roller rockers. Too good to be true?

It seems to me they would be made of bronze or brass or something soft like that. I dont know but that just seems like it would make sense.
Yes, bronze is normal. Thick aluminum could be used too. But the bushings there don't look like bronze.

I'll have to check my book on that...I've written it down somewhere.
Those induction hardened shafts are pretty badass though however, I got mine from Dan Dvorak. With needle bearing style rockers the oil holes are a little different as in there's an extra one... I'm actually using them with my comp rockers now. Slightly snugger fit, indestructible. Look like 3/8 wall!
Thanks very much; let me know if you can find the time to check; don't want to waste your time. I'll probably go with C932 for now; the rocker bushing loads look to be something like 10-20% of the loads on a piston pin bushing even with springs up in the 400-500 lb open range. C932 can be bought in the correct sized bushings that I can slice into the right lengths, already comes a few thousandths oversize for the holes in these rockers, and is a close fit on the inside. The present needle bearing assemblies are a standard, 1.125" OD x .875" ID x .375" long. so once I get one apart, it looks to be a snap to do with no machining. And, interestingly, C932 is listed as being used for an LS rocker retrofit of needle bearings: Summit RacingĀ® LS Series Retrofit Trunnion Kits SUM-141560

And those shafts sound like the ones that came with a set of Hughes rockers! Soooper thick-walled.

Dont have a clue what they used for bushing...but i am sure some one with x ray eyes will tell us....after all...they could tell me about my cnc heads looking at pictures...LOL
Stellite?
LOL... Hmmmm... stellite is new to me. Looking on the web, the color is similar and there are a lot of stellite 6 tubes and bushings for sale from China.
