65 Dodge Dart Hood Emblem Restoration
Members. On my 65 Dart GT build, I am not very happy with the appearance of the hood Emblem. Is there a way to remove the Glass/Clear plastic window to access the inside in order to repaint the Dodge Emblem? I have the emblem removed from the chrome bezel trim, and it appears that the window is glued in place on the base housing. The chrome bezel trim, which houses the emblem, is excellent, it is just the window that is scratched along with the paint on the inner logo which needs some attention. Getting a plastic/glass window made would be possible; however, getting the old one out seems to be my dilemma. Any advice out there, or has anyone attempted this before? Thanks. sgrip65
