1970 duster 340 4spd TIME CAPSULE!

Well, I am definitely not going to have this car on the road as quick as I had hoped. I realized that I would need the proper work area to work on the car. and had the plans to build a large shop. we started construction back in Sept 2016 and finished it by june 2018. Its a large shop (3000SQ FT) and I have now started work on this car. but It will be a slow process and I will work on it when I have time. these forums can tend to get a fire under my butt, so who knows...

I have been able to track down some more parts for this car. and I have been able to track down some era correct Date stamped 340 manifolds.

I have the car up on jack stands and have cut out all the exhaust and removed the transmission. I will be removing the engine next and going over it.

this car had factory SB disc brakes. I have not looked into buying new callipers yet, but does anyone know if there is going to be an issue with buying new callipers for this car? I know BB callipers are easily purchased.

I do not have any pics of the car in its current state, but I will post some shortly

here is a picture of my finished shop. all I can say is, I am thankful I have a wife that likes vehicles as much as I do. Don't be a hater on the Camaro. I don't have it anymore, but I like all vintage and classic vehicles. not biased.
