New wheels and tires come in and the only snow of the year so far happens on the same day.:D

Did you order studded tires?

Great spark show with burnouts.......

72 degrees here today but I think we have missed the twisters

Sorry to hear. But if it makes you feel any better , I drove my hotrod to work today. No snow or salt on the roads. A big bonus here in MA on Dec. 31st.

Agreed! Snow tires are better for burnouts in general because of the soft compound. Then add the studs!!!

Had them on the back of a Cutlass I once owned during a Maine winter.

Dry roads were a blast!

well Greg , it could be worse, it was -10 here at last check , and I'm only an 8 hour drive from you lol

Ummm, maybe.:D
Just looked at the radar and it looks like it's going to hang around a bit.
Snowing in ARIZONA , THAT AINT RIGHT SOME HOW !
We are supposed to get a little taste of it soon----
Wish it was 95 outside !

Snow in Arizona ?

We are at 5,500ft so yea it snows sometimes.
There are pine National forests less than 10 min from me.

It will usually snow here a few times by this time of the year, but not this year.
Personally, I don't mind driving the Dart in bad weather or even snow usually, but I try to avoid it at least on the first snow.
The first snow takes out the newly licensed teen drivers, and the ones who can't remember what driving in the snow is like from year to year.:D

I took Fred the 59 Ranchero to the store yesterday because of 4 inches of it, and you would have thought it was an ice skating rink full of people that never skated before.

I grew up driving in it in the Sierra's so it really doesn't bother me except the thought of someone hitting the Dart.

Are you around Flagstaff ? Drove thru there a couple of times, don`t know anything about the place, but I kinda liked it .

Flagstaff is about 45 minutes North of me.
I did a lot of RV camping and dirt bike riding in that erea, and it' beautiful for what some think Arizona is.

Here on East Coast we have had one snow storm so far and I ordered winter tires and wheels for my WRX. I ordered everything online and they came the day before the storm and I installed them the day I got them.....We've had no snow at all since and now my car is in the shop for what looks like its third engine due to oil consumption/burning issues. The car is 3 years old and has about 30K on the odometer. They don't make them like they used to for sure.

Flagstaff was our landing spot on our trip in Sept in the old ramcharger, and we stayed 3 nights there. Gorgeous area. Little town of Williams, the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and the mountains around Flagstaff.... just a great time

It's a blast driving around all these little towns in the Dart, but some of the roads just suck.:D
