For those who like to cook

I love sockeye salmon I eat it 3 times a week but I buy it in a can I wish we could get it here I would do 100 pints up .I do lots of canning but for fish I do mackerel and herring with 2 drops of liquid smoke awesome .
I was fortunate enough to get out deckhanding on a commercial troller for a couple of weeks this summer and brought home some fresh sockeye. I used to commercial fish when I was younger but stepped away from it when it came time to raise a family. My wife thinks that I am nuts for taking holidays from my real job to go work on a fishboat, but she loves the canned sockeye!

I would love to get out on the west coast tuna fishery.
