Could use a little 66 dart schooling....

You're gonna love it as a little street/strip car. The early As can be a pain to work on in the tiny engine compartment (headers are a pain) but they make for nice, lightweight race platforms. If yours is an original slant car, you'll need a V8 dropped center link and small block motor mounts (Schumacher for those), but that's it. A 727 will fit, but a 904 fits easier. Hooker 5208s (semi fender well), TTI and Doug's have headers for the early As. Or turbo charge it like I did and just use magnum truck manifolds. Enjoy. Boomer!

Yep, definitely doing a stroked small block. I have a v8 k frame around here somewhere. Have to find a center link. I'm pretty excited to start piecing it together. I have other stuff going so I'll take my time and find the right parts for it. Should go pretty good with a 500hp 408.

Here is a complete dash, it has a couple of non original knobs for a/c and we removed the fan and heater control levers.

Congrats on buying a 66 Dart! I bought mine a little over 5 years ago and hop eto finally get int on the street this year. You can check out my thread as i plan on doing the street /strip as well. 1966 Dodge Dart
I have some extra parts that would need some work when it comes to headlights and grills. Let me know what you need and I can see what i could help with. Bad thing is Im in Pa and shipping parts is not cheap!
Best Of luck
