73-76 Swaybar On A 67-71 K Frame

I think all would agree that the later K member with fail safe motor mounts is optimal choice. Problem is so many K members are either warped in a collision, have damage like lower arm pivot pin holes wollered out, or are the slant 6 type requiring V8 adapter mounts, or D. all the above.
Switching the spindles left and right to move the calipers to the rear is the most common method of assembly using the pre 73 K.
In recent years we've seen a few cases where the calipers were to the front on pre 73 suspension/K member. The shorter end link kits for 73 up were assembled below the clip on the earlier lower arm instead of above. Apparently this is a alternative solution, no parts hitting parts. Fluid hoses correct for 73 up A-body used too. Those end links may hang a bit low but... so do the OEM triangle shaped forward mounts of that earlier sway bar. If I ever do the disc brake upgrade, I just might install some sexy red end link kits in this manner.
