Please recheck the first block as there was no Dart with VIN that high. A VIN with that build date might be 222101
Thanks again

He never said you were getting them back. Just to contact him. :(

Maybe you missed it? This is the 'Mopar Lost and Found' section.

Some people do try to get things back to where they were & many are looking & hoping.

By posting here or elsewhere, it is a start. The VINs will appear in 'search engine' searches if the car owner is looking for their cars original block or any other item posted.

So why be negative over & over in this section when other people are actively trying to help others?

# 5/3/70; OB388829

0B 388829 is from a 1970 Challenger with a 340, so there are only two possible VINs that would match the block.

I will list them both here so they should show up if the car owner does a web search;

JH23H0B388829 or JH27H0B388829

I think I have posted this before, a 383 reunion to an RT after many years apart.

Similar story for
# 11/20/68; OB243926

It is from a 1970 340 Cuda.

So for future web searches by the cars owners, the only possible matching VINs would be;

BS23H0B243926 or BS27H0B243926

It never, ever hurts to try to help. ;-)

Thanks for posting these!

I posted a lost 340 for my Dart and 3 years later I was contacted that it was in a Cuda when purchased 10 years before, blown & pulled out, sitting on engine stand - 10 miles from my house!
