Question about carbs for tunnel rams

Hello all, im after some advice about best carbs to suit a tunnel ram for the street.
So i have a 360 (manual), engine has stock bottom end with 10:1 comp, cam is a comp cams (see link)> 20-600-4 - Thumpr™ Hydraulic Flat Tappet Camshafts
heads are currently stock 360 heads but am looking at switching to alloys. Am also running a MSD dizzy, and Pacemaker headers, with 2.25 dual exhaust.
I have a TR-5 tunnel ram (see pic) that i want to use and would like to know peoples thoughts on the best suited carburettors for this type of application.
Would like to stick with Holleys.
Ps. Should i use a different top?
Thanks in advance.

Must say i much prefer the lower top, that has a much lower rpm range and there is probably a big part of the reason why the lower top is still around on the SBC version that is still available while the bigger top is not, however its not a complete dissaster and you can run it until you find the lower top,its not like its going to blow up the engine.
Cant advice on Holley carbs for such a mild engine but i know it has been discused alot in the past and it seems as if what has been repeated a whole lot is that you should stay away from those holley mech secondary carbs that lack accpumps that are included in tunnelram kits, im a fan of the 500cfm edelbrocks for milder combinations.

Been reading up on the TR5 a little, and according to some on Moparts racing site, a SBC street tunnel ram top will bolt onto the TR5 (even though they say that Edelbrock tells them it won't) and really improve the low RPM response over the bread box plenum. The center squirters would work well, but bear in mind all four barrels open at once and there are no power valves. Great for all out performance but burn a lot of fuel. For a little more reasonable streetability, smaller vacuum secondary carbs in the 450 cfm range could be used. Most recommended carburetors by Moparts users Holley 4150 Double Pumper Carburetors 0-4776C
Yep the same series SBC tunnelram tops match, and will work well, much easier to find one of those than a complete mopar tunnelram with the correct top.

Does that big bread box style top allow you to run Carters? I have the flatter top and it is a Holley side ways only deal.

CFM wise, with your set up, a pair of 390’s for a total of 780cfm would be enough. I personally don’t know how well those carbs are up on top.

That is intresting, The Edelbrock tunnelram with the flatter top i used to own had dual bolt paterns for straight or sideways mounted carbs so i wonder if they where machined differently from Edelbrock over the years or to match the original application(my top was from a SBC tunnelram originaly) of course it could have been drilled and threaded by the previous owner but i have a hard time seeing a racer who ran a foggersystem on a smallblock redrilling a tunnelram for Carters or Edelbrocks, funny thing was that my proform doublepumpers throttlelever didnt quite fit into the notch in the top between the carbs,it was a easy fix to run the proforms sideways but just one of those little things that was weird.
