I was about to finish my disc brake swap today but ran into a problem, my brake caliper hit the front stabilizer bar and bolt...?

1968 barracuda 318

parts I'm using
1975 dart dart upper control arms
dr diff spindles
1975 dodge dart calipers and rotors.

This often happens when you use factory disc brake setup with a 68-72 sway bar . The main reason is because the disc caliper is mounted on the forward side of the spindle . this can cause interference . One of them has to give up some space .

You swap the spindles and calipers, side to side, having the calipers facing rearward.
Then you will need different flex, brake hoses.
Ones from the Aspen & Volare cars are known to work well, on that swap.
Good luck.

Ah **** have to take it all apart

Swap spindles side to side and use 1969 Camaro brake hoses & you will be fine. As in my photo. Been there. Done that. :)

I swapped spindle side and everything is back together, still will have to get new flex hoses... 69 Camaro 's

as it stands now..
$713.00 in to the disc brake swap, including booster and master coming in tomorrow UPs.

1969 Camaro with 396 engine package disk brakes is the perfect hose. Doctor Diff will tell you the same thing.

Look it up on rockauto I forget. But I'm thinking 20.25 inches. Don't hold me to that number. Rockauto will say for sure. They work on my setup just fine.
