What header bolts for TTI?

I sure wish ARP would increase the length of their header bolts from 3/4" to 1".... Dunno why they make them so short... if you have 3/8" flanges, and then use a gasket, you have less than 3/8 of thread engagement, which is not really enough IMO.

ARP is so hard to work with, if you're not a top fuel dragster they kinda piss on you. I inquired on them making some longer valve cover studs for the small block Mopar and they quoted me a THOUSAND dollars. All day I repeated that number in my head and just laughed like I was high on crack. What a jiffy.

I wouldn’t have gone with ARP for this application honestly. I am a distributor of building materials so we work closely with fastener distributors that I can get cheap hardware from. I’ll go to ARP for rotating assembly hardware and head bolts or studs but that’s about it.
