Took me quite a while to complete it, very time consuming to say the least.Installed all new walnut planked floors, new double hung windows, all new light fixtures and power supply, new wall paper and ceiling tiles, a fireplace in the master bedroom and modified the roof.

Wow. Lol had you not posted the pic of it on the table I would have never known. Thats great work. Nice craftsmanship.

I have been building dollhouses for several years, this one had been started by someone who failed to read the directions and thus lost interest. It took me about 6 months to tear it apart to rebuild all of the walls and then start to re-build the house. When finished there was about $2,300.00 in the house not to mention the initial purchase cost.
The house was purchased for a 70 year old grandmother by her son, she had always a dollhouse but as a child her family couldn't afford one, she cried when i delivered it.

Nice job! A bit small to live in though...

My grandfather used to build New England style doll houses and just like yours, photos of the interior would seem quite real and large as life.

Well done!

Some of the others i have done.....I have also built and raced radio controlled J boats which are a scale model of the early Americas Cup sailboats. Hulls are Fiberglass and about 8' long, masts are aluminum and about 10', boats are about 65#. Sailboat photos were taken at Mystic, Conn.

That is truly impressive. I use to do build model cars. Started in my preteens and did it thru my early 20s Unfortunately I have not done one in nearly 15 years. I can only imagine the hard work and concentration that would go into something like that. That takes alot of skill!

I was able to get my age as my sail number, it was available. The boat is registered with the AMYA.

Beautiful work!

I enjoy the scale boats also.

Not as fancy as yours but still fun.

Also enjoy time on my full scale, 25 Catalina.

And when I get tired of slow boats we race these. I've built quite a few for me and my friends. The're a blast. 32,000 RPM, 40CC and 60 MPH.

I owned a 28' Ranger for many years, loved sailing but hated all the dockage fees. Never got into the Nitro boats but I did a lot of R/C flying before I got into R/C sailing. I did have a 20' Bass Cat Jaguar that would do 80 mph with 2 of us on board, now that was a hoot!!

i forgot to mention, you wife must be quite the doll, for you to do all this for her
