Just a chance for me to learn something but aren't they all the same starting in 67?
 
There is a difference. The 67-71 center link is a different design than the later 72 and newer cars.

Actually...73 and newer, NOT 72. You probably knew that.
The difference is the tapered holes for the tie rod ends. One design has the idler and pitman arms on top of the link with the studs pointed towards the ground and the other is reversed with the studs pointing toward the sky.
 
Duh! You're right. 73 and newer. That's when the single piston disk brake caliper setup was introduced. My bad. :thankyou:

If oldkimmer falls through, I have one. I can pull it off a 74 Duster (see parts car section) I have. I also have a couple of the 72 and below ones as well.
