All this BS for 6 bolts that after looking at his picture there are 18 head bolts there they only take 20 so your 2 missing head bolts are getting dropped shipped from ARP what a bunch of crap for 2 bolts

On a somewhat positive note, we all learned a few things about selling, describing, listing parts for sale on a forum.
Dont forget that we learned how to use paragraphs properly in our compositions. And the importance of punctuation too!
(Couldnt help myself.)

and to think, grandpa got pissed when grandma got one more French fry than he did, can you believe the nerve of Micky D's

Perhaps in our next class, we can learn how to properly use contractions?

Part of buying with out being there, especially, is for the buyer to learn to ask GOOD questions. That is what I do as a buyer. I ask the questions important to my buying decisions. We have all learned this especially!! at swap meets. ie Has this part been milled? Has it been magnafluxed. Exactly what is the application fr tis part? (Not asking does it fit my 72 duster.) Are there any issues with this car you have for sale? etc..... I have bought many , many Mopars over the phone back in 80's, 90's especially. I asked good questions. I did not assume that snap shot they mailed me really told me what I needed to know!! I was only screwed ( lied to) once out of ???? cars Maybe just lucky!
If I am selling I want to ad the part/car as honestly and as most thoroughly as I can. Sure some people are totally anal retentive, and want to know untold amounts of nothing.

And like sands thru the hourglass, so are the days of our lives!??? !! lol

Superbeesrt8, 2 bolts does absolutely no good!!!
If you look at the first pics on pg 1 of this thread you can plainly see 18 bolts were shipped along with 18 washers.
Edelbrock heads take 10 short bolts, which are there, they take 6 medium bolts which are not there and they take 4 long bolts which you sent 8 of. So your 2 new bolts dropped shipped dont make it right.

I know you would probably saw the long bolts down shorter and say they are ok now because that's the way you roll.

You continue to show as a seller you dont care about being honest.
No one should ever trust you again!!!

Your friend, Rod

It's evident in all of his responses that he couldn't care less about what you as a buyer wants. His attitude is nothing but "get ff my back". That speaks volumes. Here's another name added to "my list". .....and it takes a LOT to get on "THAT" list.

I used to have a list, I can`t find it. It filled a whole page from this site. I gave up on adding many more bad seller threads to it for years.
I`ve been burned more from sellers here than e-bay, so I shop the bay.

I know this thread is meaningful, serious stuff for the 2 guys involved. But new guys on this site can learn a lot about old car life reading this thread.
Can RRR enlarge his avatar pic?? Like a closer look.

Guess I am just lucky never been screwed on here. Rather be lucky than good any day! But the grammar police on her did teach this old dog a few things!

Regarding the avatar pic, Google sandra otterson, I'm pretty sure that's her. And you'll see everything you can imagine.

Those are the bolts that came off those heads so the 2 that are missing are on there way already are all the bolts have the same head size if they are then the 2 others will make it a set and they cost 4 dollars a piece not the 150 you tried to get

Read this and what came to my mind? Kurt Russel and his little black book in the bar scene of that cool movie Deathproof!

When a transaction goes south, such as this one, a good seller (in my opinion) should respond with something like "I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. Is there anything we can do to make this right?"
I agree with RRR, the seller got real defensive, real fast (when he finally showed up), and had no intention to try to make things right until he finally caved in to the general consensus that he was in the wrong. I've got a list also.

I agree as well, it’s the sellers attitude that sucks here. All BS about the bolts aside, the ad sucked, no mention of the grinding on the rockers, no mention of the fact that the parts weren’t even his, and he brought this on himself, and is now defensive about it. For $1200, all this should’ve been disclosed. But, send the bolts anyway, the damage to his reputation is already done!

Sounds like nit picking to me.

Some bolts missing, 3rd party seller...not unheard of..... if its a good deal, brush it off and move on.
