So the AC on my 1972 swinger is long gone and while I'd love to toss in one of those perfect fit systems from Classic Auto Air, the $1500 price tag is making me think my windows work just fine.

Looking for a heater box that would fit my car. No AC. Shipment to Red Hook New York. Thanks!
 
Know that the firewall is different between cars factory equipped with air conditioning and cars that only came with a heater. You will have to modify the firewall to fit the non air box.
 
I also have an A/C box to fit. as stated above there are extra holes to accept the A/C so I have an A/C box

I actually still have my AC box and all the pieces but it'd be just as expensive to make that work so I figure I'll save myself some weight and space with a heat only unit.
 
I recently did one you will need all heater parts and the indented portion from the passenger side firewall from a doner car. You can use panel adhesive to attach the fire wall piece. If you cut it just right around the bevel of the indent . I put a real thin bead of seam sealer and smoothed it. You couldn't tell it was switched.
 
I don't understand either. The a/c box with push button controller can work for heat and defrost even though the a/c doesn't function. Swap to heat only box will require firewall mod, plus a different controller and dash bezel.
