Hi all, a difficult decision but Ive decided to put the vert up for sale. I would say the car is 95% complete, BUT apart. When I bought it, the orig engine(340) was gone, but has orig 4 speed transmission and original 8 3/4 with 3:23 gears. It is a roller right now.
I plan on "picking away" at it to get it closer to completion, but in reality if I do finish it, the thing will be "Mad Max'd" lol. Also Im lucky enough to have Dads 67.
No time for the vert and "life"
New AMD floor pan, trunk pan and both inner fenders. I have an NOS fender, NOS 1/4 panel and other numerous parts I have acquired over 26 years.
Grilles, console, buckets, rear interior panels, folding top mechanism, rear deck lid panel, 340(needs rebuilt), trans was checked out by transmission shop.
You will get absolutely EVERYTHING for this car as well as some duplicates that are specific for 69. Whatever extras I have for 67, I will be keeping. 68 stuff.....take it, 69 stuff...all yours. I need to streamline life. That being said, its not a fire sale. If I get "squeezed" on price, I will keep stuff(4spd etc) for the 67.
Perfect project for a body/paint guy.
This is a Formula S A53 code car. Not many of these left around. I havent seen everything(obviously) but in my 26 years owning it I have only ever seen 1 other one.
Price is $15,000 US and may go up as I continue to try and complete it.
Pics coming
Thanks
Steve

Yes sorry Dave, Ontario Canada. I have ownership in my name. As well as fendertag.
Here is pic of tail panel. Sorry pic isn't better...too much stuff in the way lol.
Steve, you are in Canada right, Ontario?

Yep. I see it now. I may be interested in the new year if it is still available. Do you have registration for it?

Yes difficult for sure. I have a garage...just not big enough.
I have all the hard to find stuff..4spd handle, grilles, tail panel, fenders.
Steve, that must have been a hard decision, It should go quick, Rare Cuda.
Then you will find out you have a garage.

What is the original exterior and top colour?
Options, interior colours etc. as well please.
Do you have the fender tag and broadcast sheet?

Hey Steve, sorry you're selling your other baby, how far are you from the border?

No broadcast sheet, but I do have fendertag. I will post pics after work tonight. Exterior color is F8(I believe) green. Top is/was black, interior is black/black.

Thanks George, its somewhat a "difficult" decision, as this car deserves to be pampered on the restoration side of it. I unfortunately dont have the $$ for that. That being said, its not a fire sale and I have all intentions to continue putting it together.
There is no sentimental value in this car to me, the 67 does though. If I can find "inner peace" and not stress about it one way or another, then its worth it.
Border.....depending on which direction i drive, approx 5 hours from Niagara Falls, and 4 hours from Gananoque.
Cheers!

4spd was inspected by Mr. Transmission and given a clean bill of health. I cleaned/wire wheeled the outside, new gasket, orings and painted.

Somebody is getting a good deal. All the hard work down with a ton of great parts. Good Luck Steve.

Pic of factory 8 3/4 323 suregrip. New wheel cyl, hardware kit, brake lines, brake cable and shoes and new seals and bearings. All disassembled checked out, stripped reassembled and painted. Although a little dusty lol.
