Question about carbs for tunnel rams

I've always told people for a car that's not going to be seriously raced for points or money Edelbrocks are much more user-friendly on the street and Mild performance. Personally I'd use what you have.
So true and good advice.
If your racing for the points or money, the Holley is the most adjustable and tune able carb there is. There what you want.

The Carters are absolutely a fine carb for anything from a stock driver to some racing as they give up tune ability to the 9th degree that the Holley can have. There really is no problem going fast with the Carters. You just have to remember that there a stock carb. Edelbrock claims a slight upgrade in the circuits. So there still basically a stock carb. Unlike most Holley’s, which are a racing carb.

No matter what carb is employed, I’d keep them small. A pair of Edelbrock 500’s or Holley 390’s/450’s.
