Was hoping i can see some pics of some dusters on a 12" wheel. i have an 8 3/4 i am narrowing along with a mini tub and spring relocation kit. i also have a pair of 325 50 15 et street r tires i would like to run.

heres a link to wheels I want to run

Shouldn't be a width issue. On a Duster the stock wheel tub to quarter lip measurement is about 13", you can usually get a little more than that with a quarter lip trim. With a full 3" relocation and mini-tub you should be looking at almost 16" of room for tires from the frame to the quarter lip. The advertised height on those tires is 28.3" though, so you'll definitely have to center the axle up in the wheel houses, which usually means moving the axle back about a 1/2". Some of the springs out there do that anyway.

Those 15x12's you want can be had with up to 8" of backspace too, so, you should actually be able to run them on an A-body 8 3/4 with BBP axles, no narrowing needed. They'd be a little tighter on the quarters than they would be to the springs, but you'd be between a 1/2" and 3/4" of being centered. So, pretty well centered even with the stock width axle if you went 15x12 and an 8" backspace. Now, if you want that "deep dish" rim look you'd need to shorten the axle and run less backspace.

Only observation I would make is that's a lot of tire and a pretty soft compound, so, if you're going to do all of that work you might want to consider starting with a Dana 60. Especially if this is a car that will see lots of 1/4 mile trips. For a street only car the 8 3/4 should be ok, but start abusing it with those big soft tires and it might not hold up as long as you'd like.

No problem!

Yeah, that was probably me. I'm in the Sacramento area and my Duster/Demon clone is my daily driver. Probably not too many black and tan Demon clones running around. :D

I run 18x10's on mine with 295/35/18's, just for additional reference. But I have stock wheel tubs and just a 1/2" spring offset on mine, it's maxed out for clearance. Still, should be a pretty good indication that a 325/50/15 should have plenty of room with a mini-tub and spring relocation since you're adding at least 2.5" of clearance compared to my set up and only adding about 1 3/8" worth of tire.

awesome looking car! im sure ill see you around sometime

i have no doubt the 325 will fit. i just want to make sure i get the offset right. i plan on cutting the entire wheel well out so the tire has room. i like the look where the tire is as close to the edge of the wheel well as possible

Back in the day 79, I had the 15/11.5/30 slick, springs moved in, 8-3/4 4.88 SS springs, 383 race only (11.60) I only had a street hemi vert so no problem with the rear. I also moved the front edge of the wheel well lip foward maybe 1"
