67 barracuda notchback restoration

Just been working a lot, and collecting up parts for my sons 69 notch. Also got everything rounded up to send out my block for machining. Gonna be a 408. Home life is kinda nuts around here too. I got 1 kid 12 year old girl with mental health issues. (Doesnt almost every female have mental health issues though). Anyhoo, every day is a real treat with that one. If i go out to the shop my wife has to deal with it all by herself, then i get the old (well you get to go in the shop all the time, and get away from this ****, and i have to deal with it all by myself) talk all the time. So i dont go out there as much anymore.

Then she tries to set me up when she tells me to go out there to work on my stuff, i tell her, "why so you can tell me i get to go do that while your dealing with this horseshit, no thank you i know how it works" Now the flip side to that is my son is now 6 and just the other day he helped me take the wheels off my truck so i could do brakes on it. He wants to go out there with me and help, and i want to teach him. We are also starting to build model kits together. So as he gets older i will take him out there and teach him while working on this stuff. This changes the dynamic, and "hey honey, i am taking one kid out of your hair"

I have a lot of vacation days this year, i may start taking fridays off and doing a 3 day weekend. To give y'all an idea how busy i have been, i just signed a paper at my work giving me almost a weeks pay for the vacation hours i didnt take last year. That money will go right back into the car in one way or another.
Damm Matt, that is a Lot to deal with.
I can't imagine how difficult it is for you and your wife, raising two kids with completely different life altering issues. It is a blessing to have your son showing interest in the happenings of the shop. I sure hope theirs something that can help with your daughter.
Hang in there! You have a ton of knowledge that seems your son is hungry to learn. Hell, you for sure could teach me a thing or two. In fact you have. My wiring issue is now solved! Thanks again buddy, I am very appreciative.
