I'm going to make an engine/xmsn stand for buildup. I may even get a little carried away and use it for a cam break in stand since I have some guages laying around too. The pieces are of my old carport. Probably 1 3/4 to 2" galvanized square tubing. I have about 120 linear feet. Not real heavy but square tube is pretty tough.

I know how to grind off galv coating!

On serious note, a lot of times that sq tubing is just .120 thick. You might want to put some gussets in critical corners just to be safe. Speaking of safe..... Don't end up under the car Fred! Like me you work alone a lot. We gotta be smart to not end up on the bottom!
