My Son has the headaches but only normal aches and pains for a 46 year old.Hopefully the shots will help you and possibly give him some hope.I have the chronic pain but only minor headaches. 2 years ago I went cold turkey and quit the Oxy but now take 2000 mg of Ibuprophen a day to keep it to a dull roar. I just had Kidney function tests done as a result. I have to admit that some of my pain was withdrawal due to my body wanting more and more oxy. I'm almost 70 now and have accepted the fact I will never be pain free but hope you find relief soon. I got my hopes up on Medical Marijuna but it didn't work well and was way to expensive.
