He comes across as "who he really is" not an actor. What did you think I meant?

I thought you meant a “real” street racer. The majority of the guys racing on that show were racing on the streets long before the cameras showed up. Most of them aren’t much different in person than they are when you talk to them.

I guess my description was intended to include that fact. He was street racing up around where we lived in North Arkansas. There's a good possibility my oldest son may have lined up with him at one time or another, if he was street racing in early 90s. They are about the same age. I built him (son) a strip/street truck, 85 GMC and I built a 72 Duster for my younger son. They ran at George Ray's Strip in Paragould and on the street in Blytheville and the surrounding area. Worried me to death, even though I was racing dirt track myself.
I like the fact that JJ was up front with the trouble he got into. I just hope they all stay out of trouble. Norm

He puts on a show.We dont do a chase is a race in Texas but a few today and yesterday beat them at their own game

No, I resigned from my Flight Mechanic job (1996) with a pipe fitting company in El Dorado, opened my own aircraft repair shop thinking I would have all kinds of time to dedicate to my racing, but it was not to be...too much work! Sold out everything except my engine (I still have it) to a Murphy Oil pilot, who put two more seasons on the car. Norm

Once you get used to JJ's Carnival Barking and really listen to him he is a very caring man and seem like the kinda guy you would like behind you if you got in a pinch. Sorry but both his slutty wife and the red head turn my stomach.Like the show way better than the Chief and Shawn show.

I used to think JJ was an ***. Now my mind has changed, and he's so much better than Big Chief that it ain't funny!
I liked the show they did about his life. Made me change my mind about him.

One of the Mempis outlaw show. They did a background of his life. He talked about where he lived and raced. Plus all the trouble he got in with drugs. I'm sure you could find it on a search. Sorry I don't remember when. Might have been a month or two ago.

I like the show, but I think a monkey would make the show complete. would be a great sidekick for JJ.

Seems I remember that car, old Hobby class back then, was that a 108 kfin radio station car ?

They are supposed to be at Barona end of the month. Me and the Little man are gonna take the Dart and check it out.

One thing I don't get with these supposed "street racing" shows is why does everybody show up with a giant, annoying posse? I've seen Nascar Busch teams with less people.
