DIY Lizzard Skin

putting this out as an FYI, to see if anyone else has used this product.

I 100% restored a 1983 D150 a few years ago, as a sound and heat insulator I used microspheres mixed into oil based enamel paint. Brushed it inside the doors, inside the fenders and on the firewall.

here is a link to the site that I purchased the microspheres from

I am in the process of doing a complete underside renew on the 68 Barracuda.
new floors from the firewall back to and including the trunk.
I am considering using the microspheres mixed into the Tractor Supply implement paint and
either brushing or spraying that on the underside of the floor panels and frame rails.

here is info on the Tractor Supply paint:
Majic Tractor, Truck & Implement Enamel, Matte Black, 1 gal. at Tractor Supply Co.

the new panels will need paint and the TS oil enamel should be superior to the latex based Lizzard Skin, and be less expensive.
