A professional car painter breaths less fumes than you do Johnny. You can't just lump them all into one category. I will concur the painters that bargain hunters seek can be less than professional and that mentality can occur in any profession.
True, I can't lump them all into one category. But I can speak from my experience, and others that I have met. Flakey bunch indeed.
In regards to fumes...Not even close bud. These guys are around deadly chemicals all day, me not so much. Not even close.
