Hello I'm a retired machinist from a farm in SE Ks. Years ago I built a 1932 Ply PB coupe chopped and channeled with a home grown frame , 426 Hemi and a 671 blower . Finally decided it would kill me someday so disassembled and sold all of the parts . Every since then every time I see a hemi or hear it mentioned I nudge wife and say "Hemi" Her first car was a brand new 64 Dodge Dart convertible. A couple of years ago she told me the only way she wanted to see a hemi was under the hood of a 64 dart convertible and it had to be white with red interior I found the car in California and am in the process of putting the hemi in . Lots of questions but am really enjoying reading past post and builds. I'm a 75 yr old guy with a 2001 Dodge diesel in the garage that has 58,000 miles

How close are you to walnut or Chanute kansas ? Both are in SE Kansas.

Greetings and welcome from KC! Post lots of pictures of your project

That's cool. I have relatives in Erie, Chanute, Walnut and around that area!.

You probably go to the races at MOKAN? If not, several members attend the Mopar weekend every year

You don't ride motorcycles by chance, do you?

Welcome to FABO! Good to have another Kansan on board. I'm from Hutchinson. Best of luck on the new project!

Welcome, and thanks for proving that age is only a number, and Hot Rodding is a lifelong affliction to be enjoyed. My wife has been very supportive, and was actually disappointed when I sold the 70 Dart, of course she really liked the green color combo, but she's on board with my recently acquired 75 Dart Sport.
