Hello All,
It is time to start the interior resto for my duster and my son's duster. It seems that Legendary is the company of choice????
Thoughts please...
Thanks everybody....AL

GO SAINTS!!!!! Since my Dolphins **** the bed.....

Legendary has been manufacturing Mopar interiors for over thirty years. No one stays in business that long doing a poor job.
I've had two sets of Legendary's seat covers, and one set of door panels, and wouldn't hesitate to buy there again.

Some stuff, like carpet all (almost) comes from the same manufacturer. ACC makes carpet that about everybody sells. There are still wild price variations with vendors. Do some comparisons before you buy. I bought my first set at Stock Interiors. The second set I bought at Rock Auto and it was a lot cheaper for the exact same stuff, partially due to cheaper shipping.

Legendary ! my interior was b5 (1969 barracuda) color was spot on fit was great it was my 1st experience doing a interior//headliner/carpet/front rear seats ,although they could have put more fabric in the rear seat ( the fold down needs a little more to wrap it around the lower frame) /visors/seat backs went so well that (for me ) there is no need to go anywhere else to (experiment ) with !!!!!!

You can also get show deals from Legendary and have them bring your stuff to the show if you prepay, or order it at the show and pay there and they will ship it for free! If it is a unique color or pattern, it is best to call ahead and preorder and have them bring it to the show!

Ledgendary. Even my friend who does custom upholstery sells their products. Just seats but good stuff. Here's my 66.

Classic industries also sells Legendary. Check both sites, you might catch a sale.

That's right. Classic Industries almost always has some discount code. Right now, code VST19 is good for free shipping for over $99, plus up to 20% off. You may find that you won't get the full discount. Some items will get some or none. But you can find out in the shopping cart. They are usually only good for a few days, and then they change them up. They change them often enough that you can find out the maximum discount they'll give on your item, and then decide if taking or combining it with free shipping will give you the best deal.

Classic and Legendary have email sign ups that probably will probably tell you about discounts. I know Classic does.
You might find a deal on Year One's site. But I doubt it!

OK.... I emailed Legendary to inquire about replacement foam for my bucket seats. Mine is a 72 and legendary does not offer foam for the 72 bucket seats:mad:!!! They offer it for earlier and later years, but not 72.
You guys that had to restore 72 seats, what did you do for the foam???? The guy at Legendary offered NOTHING!! No suggestions, no alternatives:wtf:....

Legendary always does a big discount around November. I saved a bunch buying most at that time. They sell stuff they do not always show in their catalog as well. Look at profit auto interiors for pricing on ACC carpet and items from Legendary you may not find in their catalog. My headliner was not listed but ordered from profit and it came in a Legendary box. Very pleased with all of it.

I'd probably have an auto upholstery shop install the covers and put in new foam. It would be a custom job, not pre-formed, but they do that all the time. Understandably, it would be disappointing if you and your son were planning to do the job yourselves. Also, it would incur an unexpected expense. You could try to make your own. Look to see if you can find advice on how to do it.

I got seat covers from them. They look just like the originals. They look great installed. I bought the door panels from year one, but turns out they were made by legendary too. I wasn’t aware of that when I got them. They look great too. Just my two cents.

I have done business with Legendary for many years. They have always gone out of their way to help including taking decent old covers as a pattern and making seat sets and door panels that they did not already offer - even gave me a discount for supplying something for them to make a new product from. They also stand behind their products. I had a seam split years after I bought a set of seat covers and they just replaced it at no cost - no questions, no hassle!

Thanks Guys...
I thought I might have to go local/in state to have the foam done. However I haven't given up on Legendary yet. I am going to call them this time, instead of email. My current seats are still intact, but the foam is old. Maybe they can copy my foam and make repops available for others...:D:D

For ACC stuff, look up what you need on their website, then go to summit to buy.
Major discount plus free shipping.
Between my carpet and floor mats I easily saved over $200.
