Hey all! Wondering if there was any options for the hood other than stock when they were manufactured. I have seen a lot of dual hood scoops but wanted to see what “actually” came with that year. I could throw anything on, but I would like to make it look good still. Right now it’s a sleeper with a 360 in it, but thinking about adding the scoop. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm pretty sure there weren't any options for the dart hood in 73, except for the dual snorkel on the dart sport. You could put a dual snorkel on it, here's a picture of one I had last year, I think they are the best looking scoop on the 73 and 74 hood.

As far as I know, Mitch is correct.
There are some other possibilities if you're willing to stray just a little farther from the options sheet.
Anything that fit on the 1969 Barracuda should be an easy swap to the '73-'76 Dart since they used essentially the same hood.

There's also the fiberglass route (which I'm currently working on!) for which there are a few different choices out there. So far, I'm happy with the quality of the "Six pack" style scoop on my '73 Dart hood but I'm just starting on the prep so I don't have any worthwhile pics to share.

I like both styles. I struggle to decide if I want to go through all the trouble of trying to find something of decent quality and adding it when it isn't a necessity! I will check out some of the options for the Cuda hood scoops and see what they have!

@Mopar-Mitch i like the dual snorkel look on the demons but am unsure how much different it would look on my swinger. I have seen some vehicles and some look good and some look bad. It would be nice to be able to use a taller intake and allow my engine to breathe better... but im still on the fence! Thanks for your input!

I think I know what you mean here. There's something about the later A-bodies where they can either look good or just "wrong" and I have a hard time pinpointing what makes the difference. You can have two cars with the same scoop, similar wheels, etc...and the difference in over all appearance can still be gigantic.
