I'm gonna "assume" it's ok since in SC we just get the one plate for the rear. The '71 FL tag is the very old format where a county code (16 for Sarasota) is followed by a symbol that represents the weight range ("d" "-", "w", or "ww", then the unique digits you were issued.

I have my dad's PA bicentennial plate that would be correct for my 75. For now I am running a PA historic vehicle plate. They charge an extra $75 to re-register an old plate, but give you a new one. Not sure how that makes any sense other than stealing my money. :BangHead:
