Factory must have ran out of auto consoles?
No need to scrap your Auto console. If you are using a Hurst shifter and not the wonky inland shifter, the auto console can be used with the 4-speed top-plates no problem, and you will be hard pressed to tell the difference once you put on the side carpet strips.
