This is the class I am building my heads up car for. I also hope to race the Dad's series at Quaker City. I donwloaded a lot of videos I took in 2014 and 2015 and this led me to buying my blue Duster. Videos are on Facebook.

The Dads series at Quaker is great. Good bunch of folks and some REALLY fast cars. I’ve run that series a couple times but found out real quick that my junk is wayyyy to slow to compete. The True Street class required DOT tires (no drag radials allowed) plus full legal registration and insurance and guys were running 10.50-11.50. On junk p-car radials! Bring a big gun.

Ya i'm Friends with Shawn Matis and Family as they live close and I did a little FORD work for him. They raised the prize money several years ago and kinda sealed my faith as I can't compete with the big money guys. If it isn't fun I will have a fast "bracket car" lol.

I think you’ll have lots of fun. It’s just a great atmosphere.

Wow another great looking car!

What do you expect to run with that?
Looking forward to seeing what you can do.

Class is limited to a 10.5 tire. My local heads-up class has cars from 4.60's to 5.50's. Monster Mopar quickest so far has been around a 4.83 so hopefully I can get mine in the 5.20's or so. I have LOTS of learning to do as I never played with nitrous before and can't afford to pay someone to build me a NA bullet. I just want to have some FUN before I get old. LOL.

What kinda shot are you looking at?

I've two systems sitting on the shelf and am so afraid of them it's not even funny.

I bought an Induction Solutions Sledgehammer plate system. It’s a 300-700 horsepower set up

Steve's a great guy and will help you anyway he can. He is loyal to nobody and everybody. The guy likes people to succeed. Which controller are you going with?

PM me with what you have. We had a rule change last week in our List racing and has now peaked my interest.....

Steve recommended the NMS100--NLR so I went with it. My buddy Tom Hemphile is very good with Mopars (and nitrous) but can be hard to get a hold of sometimes so I went with Steve's system. Two guys that I pit close to on test n tune nights run his stuff and if you let Steve know a couple of days before you go to the track he will pull your folder and you can call him right after a pass. I bought a plug reader and a flow tool so I can hopefully get it dialed in quickly. I kinda race by myself so its going to be a handful.

What does D.A.D.S stand for?

I'm honestly not sure but they seem like a great group of guys. They pulled the plug last Winter after a MOPAR guy gave them crap because he couldn't make up his own rules. It was a mess on the internet and Facebook group. He was banned and it slowly got rolling again but I think its still recovering.

I'm guessing you built a nitrous engine?
Your not gonna slap a 300+ shot to just any old build?

Ya I bought a set of nitrous pistons and convertor off of Jason Dixby when he was switching over to turbo power. When I went to put it together I needed a 7.150 length rod and when I talked to him he sold me a set with 20 passes on them. I gapped the rings for nitrous use and went with a thicker Cometic gasket to give me a bigger tuning window.

Seriously John, that’s really what it stands for. Look it up. They have a good sense of humor.

It very well could. I know some of them from Facebook but I don’t know them if you know what I mean. They are a pretty crazy bunch. Lol
