That looks like a "W", the part # would be 7 digits. Figuring the hood was designed in 72 sometime, it is unlikely the part # would begin with "17".

Why do you ask?

I purchased the hood as a OEM part number however it feels a bit flimsy l, was just curious if it is indeed OEM it will work regardless.
