I was showing that clip to some friends and mentioned 'How crazy is it to run a low 13 with a slant six but no one notices because it was next to the 9 second Cuda".
 
Lots of work went into that car. If you look at the last pass the man staging the car is Jack, he owns the Vixen '17 Challenger running in the no prep series on Discovery Channel. They were 5th in points last year and runner up in the last race @ Ennis. Will crews on the Challenger. So those guys know how to go fast. Atomizer Racing Injectors.
 
Very impressive, now how much horsepower is reasonable for a street performance Slant 6 car?
 
Stock bore&stroke Head shaved .100 Cifford intake and headers,Edelbrock 500 AFB. .425 lift cam.Automatic. 3.73 rear gears.
Pulled 208 rear wheel HP on the chassis dyno.
With head work pistons and rods to get to zero deck,proper cam and tuning close to 300 HP can be had.
