I have installed a new steering box and have one full turn more on left turns than right turns? I counted the turns from lock to lock and thought I centered it up correctly. Is there something else I missed that I would have to adjust?

You also need to center the tie rods. Same amount of threads, left and right. GENERIC PHOTO.

And make sure that the pitman arm is straight backwards, parallel to the frame.

The pitman SHOULD be keyed to only fit one way, but someone may have "modded" it. The steering coupler can be off 1/2 turn if it's been taken apart. It, too, and the original steering wheel, are all keyed. Again, something may have been modified

Tie rod ends will only take care of a partial turn. You set the toe as "centered" as you can, then 'walk' the wheel to center by adjusting one rod in, the opposite out same no. of turns, then re-check toe

185 ft/lbs for the pitman arm nut~! Wow, I guess No one is stripping those threads.

Thank you Moparleo for the photo and everyone else for the help. I looked at my tie rod ends and one side has way more threads than the other. I am going to center them the best I can and then I assume, probably going to need an alignment. The car slightly pulls to the right but I don't drive it enough to remember to fix/adjust things. After I center the tie rod ends I will see if my pitman arm is still parallel to the frame. Thanks again all.
