Hi guys. Looking for any information on this manifold. Thanks!

Nothing strange about a mid to late 70’s 2 Barrel Slant Six Intake.

Jake

is it aluminum or steel? If it's aluminum, is it one piece, or two?

Someone removed the divider. Gosh, it's not rocket science or alien invasions.

It's been modded, whether you believe it or not. If it was professionally done, there's no way you could tell after a few years passed. "Cute" or not, that's the truth.

Is that so? You don't have a clue dude Spare me your sarcastic opinion.

Ok then. You have a one of one never before produced until you found it that's worth millions. Does that better fit your narrative?

I guess you haven't figured out I'm not interested in your opinion.

I don't know what your problem is, but I am trying my best to be straight up with you. That's a modded intake. Like it or not. Think it's cute or sarcastic all you want. You're the one who posted asking about it. I cannot help it if you don't like the answers you're getting. That part is not my concern. Nor is it that you're "not interested".

Dude
I have conflicting information about it. That's why I posted. Simple curiosity
Your opinion would be noted without the rocket science bs.or little secret crap. Move on please

It was meant as a simple poke of fun. If you cannot handle that, then maybe you need to move on. It was a JOKE to make you laugh. Again, I am not responsible for your inference. You may have conflicting information, but you asked HERE and are getting correct answers. Sorry they're not what you want to hear.

And even "I" can see fresh metal in your picture just under the opening to the plenum. It's been modded. Look at the circled area and the arrow. Either it's been ground on or cut, but it's been modded. You're acting like I am saying it's a bad thing or a POS. I'm not.

I welcome the facts either way. Just be cool about how you reply. I've had conflicting opinions. That's why I posted The picture is not worth anything. You cant see any detail. Very poor resolution. I've held it in my hand and examined it. My opinion is it hasn't been worked on. I remain curious.

Now, there are TWO that I know of that had that pattern. One was an old Mopar Performance cast iron piece, the other is from a company in Australia. Do you have a casting number?

4041043 - intake manifold, RG-series 225 2bbl, super six, 1977-1980. This is what it was used on and used to look like. Nothing special about it. It has been modified. Probably to put a different carburetor on it.

I just grabbed a picture off the internet to show what it was. It's just a slanty manifold that has been cut. Hell people still do it today to V8 manifolds.
