What electonic ignition?

I am using pertronix III and that’s a no go.

If you want it to look stock you can use an msd blaster or something similar and paint it. I didnt like the red coil, stuck out like a sore thumb.

Not sure I would want to paint it. The Flamethower coil used with my ignition looks pretty stock. Search around and understand what is recommended for the ignition you are using, be it acell or what ever. First know what you have then research.

Check voltage to coil from Ballast resistor. Should be around 8-9 volts cold. It will change as resister heats up. If it is really low , around 3-4 volts cold , you have the wrong ballast resistor. I found this out when I changed from points to electronic ignition. I used the mopar electronic conversion kit.
