Seatbelt color

I asked this same question years ago and another member chimed in, I believe he has a 68, all original, ordered new, came with black interior and green belts.
Mine is a 67, black with green belts, green the entire length on all 4.

I don't see how sun fading would affect under the seat.

I don't think it does as my rear seat belts were tucked between the upper and lower seat cushion and were fine. The shoulder belts were faded a little and starting to go green.
The fronts were almost a dark green being exposed to wear and tear, the sunlight, ultraviolet etc..
They are the original black seatbelts for the car and were never removed.
