No, on the 'red' setting the font in the thread list looks like big black blobs (to me anyway) I use bi-focals and that just enhances the effect. It seems the 'thickness' of the font is the issue. It's in bold for obvious reasons, the letters just seem to meld together (again from my perspective). Others with better eyesight may not have that issue.
I can read it, it just takes more effort.
