I've found what seems to be a good deal on a FiTech system local to me and I'd really like to get it but I'm not so sure it will work on my application.

It's a 440 and I'm running a Lunati voodoo 60303 with 110 LSA. I've heard these systems don't work well with low vacuum and that 110 is pushing it.

Do anyone know anything about this cam enough to know if EFI will work with it??

That engine should see plenty of vacuum with that camshaft. Much more to the picture than just the LSA.

BTW He's not just another dumbazz, you can take it to the bank.

not a fi tech, but I had to go to a 113 lobe sep. cam to make mine work better---just sayin.

A friend has a 110 C line cam and a Fi-Tech on his RPM intake, B-‘383. The cam is fairly small. He loves the system.
How big is your cam?

The Holley HP/ Dominator computers can idle and low speed in what is called "Alpha N" and then switch to the normal mode they use which uses your MAP sensor. Find out if the FI tech can do that or even run in "straight" Alpha-N at all times

Evidently Holley Sniper ---which does NOT use the HP or Dominator ECU--can not do this see this question

Will the Sniper EFI work on 600 HP with low vacuum at idle?

You have to remember that the FItech and the Holley Sniper are both low budget starter systems. They simply don't have some of the features of the more expensive systems.

Also remember that for a bit more money you could go with a Holley HP based computer and with a TBI setup which would still be a lot cheaper than multiport, and later expand it to such while keeping the same throttle body.

Thanks for all the input guys. I'm still looking into it. Good to know on that Sniper kit as that is what I was originally shooting for eventually.

Rumble - the cam I'm running is the Lunati voodoo 60303 cam .494/.513 110 LSA. Currently running stock rockers but looking to upgrade to some 1.6 when i find a good deal.

One last question. I’ve got a Torker 440 currently and the threads are stripped. I want to get a new intake. Since I’m looking at efi should I stick with a single plane or can I run a performer rpm? Have heard mixed info and just not sure

You can run a dual plane and FI. BUT, what is your combo?

440 .40 over. Lunati .494/.513 lift, KB hypers, sidewinder alum heads, Schumacher headers.

Okay what else we need? Duster stock converter. 8.8 rear w/ 4.10 gear.

Tell me what you need and I’ll get it. That’s why I’m asking here. Cause you guys have the knowledge.
