I'm sure most of not all of us here have seen the new ads and commercials for the debut of the hellaphant. Said it comes with the badging to put on your rig to let people know what's under the hood. Anyone know what they are retailing for and when their going to be available to the people? Anyone got plans to get one and put it in their A-body?
 
I'd be buying the hellcat engine. They are blowing it out with a huge rebate.

Sold where on line. I haven't seen pricing for the Hellaphant yet.
Who's offering the blowout pricing on Hellcat engines?
 
wonder if the exhaust manifolds will work in an a body. it would be nice with a turn key k member and suspension. i still cant afford it though. and i dont even know the price.
 
I think I remember seeing somewhere where the Hellefant was going to be in the $20,000.00 range.

Look's like I was wrong on that, its the Hellcrate that's $20.000.00, shoot I'd even be happy with one of those but my **** hand filled up first.

Yeah, out of my range for sure. I am sure we will see it being used in builds on the higher end car shows on t.v. in no time.
 
The rumor mill at the SEMA show said the new Hellephant would be somewhere in the 30K range. I think it will be between 24 and 27K, which is about what 1000HP "crate motors" go for these days.
 
I’ve got a little extra money laying around, I think I could afford the oil breather & just save up from there for the rest......
 
After spending 30K on the motor how much for the tranny to hold that beast?
 
And the rest of the drivetrain and frame which the motor would quickly turn into a pretzel.....
 
If your spending 25K (?) on a create engine, I don’t think you really care about the rest.
 
Am I correct that a modern gauge cluster comes with the engine and has to be used in the car it goes into? As nice as 1000hp might be, I wouldn't want the gauges from a new Challenger or Charger stuck in my dashboard.
 
I haven’t heard that. The only thing I know is that there is a few “packages” that need to go with it starting with the computer and the fly by wire gas pedal. *I think* there is also a front end accessory package as well.
