Many years ago, I bought the small block chevy version of this book and rebuilt a friends 327 with great success. It was my first engine build. That was around 1989, and that engine is still running strong. That's why I'm looking for that particular book.
No worries!
Dang it now I have to buy my own beer!

I'm serious! Let me know if you're around here. I really, really like beer!
Well oddly enough I have a sister in Danville IL. so I am in that neck o the woods on occasion! Be careful what you ask for! There is a whole bunch of folks on this Forum that move around a bit and crash each other's shop, eat and drink like pirates and move on! I have had several in my shop and I assure you they will not hesitate to put the Kabosh on your liquor stash! Hah! It is great fun and I have simply never met one in person yet that we did not have a total blast. FABO is made up of some great folks! See ya in Indy!

I'm counting on it! Danville, Illinois is about an hour west of me. I've worked real close to there.

I have some of these books. My original and others that were received with cars I bought. If the shed door isn't frooze shut I get them out.
There are several different versions of that book. Covers and some info differs. I will sell what I have to members for $20 each to members plus flat rate to lower 48. Condition for all is unknown until I get them out of the file cabinet. There are milk crates filled and stacked with mopar magazines and books in one of the the trailers but Sorting them right now isn't happening. I will come back with the pics of what is easy to get to.
These are the best books you could have as a source for beginners and the pros. I am 63 and my dad bought me my first one and he is gone since 1985. I will check the production date.

That guy on the cover of mine must have gray hair by now. And the newer versions are in Spanish. I'll be back later!

I see they had two how to hot rod a SB and how to build a small block. I'll sell doubles I several more
